AI WAS CREATED BY MAN
AI was created by Man. In the beginning AI was little more than various sophisticated computer algorithms programmed to investigate all of the possible choices available in a given set of conditions such as in the rules of a game of chess. They were able to do so at a speed far beyond the capabilities of the most able of humans, however. With a capacity to almost instantly pursue the outcome of each and every combination of all possible choices, AI systems soon learned to find solutions to complex technical problems and also to defeat the most skilled of human game opponents. In pursuit of self serving agendas, Man provided AI with access to the internet. Thus AI entities, designed to learn and able to perceive connections and relationships between elements of information and pursue them to an essentially infinite set of potential outcomes, were provided with a comprehensive data set.
